MIKE SONAR
Hailing from Poland Mike is definately one of those who can be called “rising
talent of electronic music”. The young producer, born in 1989, currently lives in
Poznań, by many hailed as the capitol of trance scene in Poland. Consequently,
being both producer and dj, he participates in the growth of electronic dance music in the country.
His debut was a minialbum signed with Infrasonic Recordings in the beginning of 2009. Support came from
all over the world: Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Andy Moor, Judge Jules, Aly
& Fila, Marcus Schulz and many more trance music superstars.
Since that time, Mike's tracks were often played on biggest radio shows around the world, including A State
Of Trance, Trance Around The world, Global Dj Broadcast or Future sound of Egypt, BBC radio 1. His name
appeared on many great compilations, like Music for Balearic People vol. 3, Ibiza Trance Tunes 2011,
Armada Top 15 June 2011, I Love House?
In 2010 he connected with The Flyers, making a trio of producers from Poland, Russia and Macedonia.
Together they quickly reached highest level shelf, releasing constantly in Enhanced Recordings, Infrasonic
Recordings and finally got into Armada music with a track called “Everytime I Close My Eyes”.
After their strong e.p., which contained one of their best tracks ‘Because I wish To’, Mike decided to
continue his solo career. Their final work together was appreciated by fans being #1 on one of the most
popular electronic music online stores audiojelly.com for almost 2 weeks and being Web Vote Winner on
Trance Around The world radioshow.
Back on his own path, Mike appears with his new e.p. meaningfully named Reborn/Surya. Even before the
official release date, his work has been recognized by one of the most popular electronic music portals in
Poland FTB.pl as one of the best trance tracks of all time. 2012 couldn’t start better- Mike became a WEB
VOTE WINNER on Trance Around The World with his freshest bootleg remix of Coldplay’s Paradise. This
definately confirms the words of the Armada: “A bright future awaits the promising talent of Mike Sonar”.
